Moving
on to the reason we are all here, Based on Benson lee’s award winning 2007,
Planet Bboy documentary-a documentary based on the 2005 Battle of the year
(BOTY) and describes the Bboy culture and History.

Battle
of the year 3D is a story revolving around an American dance crew who among
other issues are gravely misunderstood by the community and most disappointing
also by their families. The challenge that fuels Laz Alonzo (as Dante) is the
fact that though the competition(BOTY) originated in the U.S. no American crew has
taken the prize home in the past 15 years.

Determined to change all this Dante
recruits Josh Holloway (as Blake) previously a basket ball coach to help form
the ultimate Bboy crew compromised of the best dancers in the country. They
collide in France where they endeavour to make their dreams come alive. Their skills,
dedication and commitment are put to test in the Battle of the year Finals
where they face 18 nations vying for the title of World Champ.

There
has been less hype surrounding this movie and the little attention I believe
has been due to the very little information that has been provided of the
script. To be realesed on 13th September 2013 and Boasting a strong
cast lead by Chris Brown(as Rooster), Laz Alonso(as Dante) and Lost’s Josh Holloway(as Blake), screen writers Brin
Hill, chris parker and Director Benson Lee(Planet Bboy) this surely promises to
be one of the most anticipated 2013 dance movies.
