Amaizingly enough I meat DK via Facebook and he is one of those few Kenyan 'CELEBRITIES' who actually taketime to respond to mails and actually communicate back. He fowarded me this press release on his Sari Sari song

DK KWENYE BEAT HIMSELF GETS READY!!!

"After an amazing collaboration with Jimmy Gait on the 2011-2012 hit ‘FuriFuri’, DK is back with another jam ‘Sarisari’. People had already started asking of his next step despite some of his other collaborations since then; with the young star Master Peace and Cabassa ‘Kofio’ and another track yet to do the video ‘Kitam’ by Willy Paul and Elijah.

‘Sari sari’ to mean satisfaction is a track full of notable superstars’ right from the making. The track features the outstanding work of Antoneosoul with his mellow voice on the chorus. Then the very able SAINT P of homeboyz records did his magic on the catchy beat, last but not least Blessings of Link Video came up with an awesome video, giving you a total ear and eye musical satisfaction.

The video has a blizzard of stars; dj sadic of Genius Entertainment, MOG, Marques Olang of One fm, dj mo of the system unit, Mr.T, Jimmy Gait, one of the duo of Kelele Takatifu, Jacklyne Mwangi a.k.a Jolyne of Tahidi High, and two hundred dancers; Altermin, Falujah, Zionists together with 100 kids from a children’s home. With three locations the high court, Macmillan Library and the beautiful Banda Street all provided an amazing motion picture.

During the launch of the video a number of entertainment players showed up at ‘The Lounge’ courtesy of dj Soxxy and Johny Celeb to support this initiative.

Sari Sari has enjoyed massive air play since its release and before DK could blink I had to ask him a few questions out of curiosity (you know am not that curios right?)

WHAT IS THE INSPIRATION BEHIND THE SARISARI VIDEO: This is definitely from the book of Isaiah, where I draw my strength from. It has been a long journey for me as an artist, passed through a lot and for sure God has made me get satist=fied with what he provides to me daily. I can’t say I have it all because God is just thus for what he's given me I am Sari Sari satisfied.

WHAT DO U THINK DANCERS SHLD DO TO RAISE THEIR VALUE IN THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY: Much can be said about this because with dance it’s a group that means, many heads. when they get well organized, pick a leader, get a manager (professional of course)and make deals worth their time of practice of course, they won’t miss the mark and greater of all pray a lot to keep the group glued.

WHAT ROLE DOES DANCE PLAY IN YOUR TYPE OF MUSIC: Sari Sari is a dancing song, it is to show god that we appreciate him, “am happy for what you have done,  are doing and you’re going to do in my life. Just like David used to dance we are letting it go in worship of your mighty and matchless presence.” the dance is a sign of appreciation, honor and the everlasting divine joy.
